I dislike reggaeton soooo much, so I cleary remember when this dreary nightmare started.. And that blasted beat is like a drug for dancing (and selling) and it's erasing the original beats of the rest of latin genres like Merengue, bachata, cumbia, etc.. I'm mostly a metal/rock/prog fan so it doesn't directly affects me but it hurts to see how genres are being distorted at the point of losing their essence just for the sake of sales
